For just over 4 years, our new client, Sarah Gerow, has grown out her hair and donated it annually to the BC Cancer Society.

When Sarah asked us to help her achieve her 2015 donation, the team at Jonni’s Styling Studio were thrilled to be a part of this great cause.

For over 3 years, the salon has been actively involved in creating awareness and donations for Breast Cancer Awareness in Kamloops as a way of giving back to the community and supporting those touched by Cancer locally.

Through the use of the stylists creativity in the hair industry, the team put their skill-set to work to help create a unique and fun way to support such a powerful cause.

If you, or someone you know is interested in donating hair towards the Hair Donation Program for Cancer, please review the guidelines below:

at least 8 inches in length (minimum varies per program. See below)
clean, dry, untreated hair (not permed or coloured)

It isn’t possible to meet the recipients of the finished wigs. Include your name and address in the envelope, as acknowledgements may be sent. If your donated hair cannot be used to make a wig, it will not be returned to you.
